Job Title: Industrial Services Senior Operative

Tradebe is seeking an experienced Industrial Services Senior Operative to join our team in Knowsley, Liverpool.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and deliver Industrial services projects efficiently, managing a team of operatives to meet project scope and deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with operating procedures, risk assessments, and method statements to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Prioritize the safety of all personnel and members of the public, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
  • Work on various Transfers Division locations as directed, providing support to the team when needed.

Requirements:
  • Experience in Industrial Services or the chemical waste industry.
  • Strong integrity and judgment skills.
  • A hands-on and proactive attitude to tackle tasks efficiently.
  • The ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
  • Effective communication skills to provide clear recommendations and opinions.
  • Experience building strong working relationships across different seniority grades.
What You'll Do:
  • Organize and complete allocated duties in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all work areas are safe, secure, clean, and tidy by the end of each working day.
  • Assist in operational duties as required by management, adhering to applicable works procedures and guidelines.
  • Report any Environmental/H&S/Operational issues arising as soon as possible.
  • Liaise with Operational/Technical and other departments to ensure activities are performed efficiently and effectively.
  • Support maintenance/operational/H&S issues arising on site, including remedial actions and reporting.
  • Produce operational records/reports and relevant documents accurately and on time.
  • Assist with loading and unloading vehicles when required.
  • Provide cover for others during scheduled absence.
