Job Description

TS Grale is seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead the manufacturing, assembly, and supply chain systems and processes at their site near Liverpool. As a market leader in their field, they have secured new contracts that will drive growth in revenue and profitability.

The Operations Director will be responsible for shaping the site's operations to meet further growth in demand. This includes:

  • Effective management, control, and optimization of all site functions, including production, assembly, and supply chain
  • Strategic planning and implementation of plans to meet the company's strategic goals
  • Leadership and development of the site management team, ensuring accountability and delivery of goals and objectives
  • Delivery of SIOP to enhance revenue and profitability performance
  • Development and enhancement of robust KPIs, ensuring better visibility, accountability, and performance

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience leading and managing industrial operations, including assembly, project engineering, lean manufacturing, and complex component supply chains. Experience in machining, fabrication, and complex assembly is favored.

Key requirements include:

  • A demonstrable track record of success as an operations leader in an Automotive or industrial manufacturing environment
  • An inspirational leader with experience leading and taking multi-functional teams
  • A straightforward and inclusive leader who sets direction, goals, and process expectations that ensure accountability and performance delivery
  • Educated to a degree level, high-level management qualification, and Lean Practitioner with a record of Lean implementation
