Regional Director Europe, Business Unit Lead

Hyva is a leading provider of recycling solutions in the European market. We are seeking an experienced Regional Director Europe, Business Unit Lead to join our team.
The estimated salary for this role is €120,000 - €150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive business growth and profitability within the European region. This will involve managing sales teams, developing partnerships with customers and stakeholders, and optimizing distributor networks.
Main Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Market Development:
- Develop and implement a go-to-market approach that aligns with Hyva's regional and global strategy.
- Establish partnerships with customers and stakeholders within the sub-region and monitor regional market trends.
- Manage and develop relationships with key customers to strengthen market position and meet customer needs.
- Distributor and Channel Management:
- Rationalize the existing distributor network while ensuring customer needs are met effectively.
- Oversee distributor performance, implementing solid governance, standard processes, and common KPIs to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Revenue Growth and Profitability:
- Drive equipment sales, aftermarket revenue, and overall profitability within the designated sub-region.
- Manage frontline sales and service activities in cooperation with designated Country Managing Directors.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including potential acquisition targets.
- Financial Performance and Cost Management:
- Manage the full P&L for BU Recycling Europe (several sub-regions).
- Review financial statements, sales reports, and activity reports to monitor and achieve financial objectives, identifying areas for cost reduction.
- Operational Efficiency and Compliance:
- Implement standard operating procedures and ensure governance aligns with Hyva's corporate standards and rules.
- Ensure the company delivers high-quality products and services by regularly assessing business performance against quality benchmarks.
