Ambulance Transport Specialist

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting patients to and from our specialist cardiac and respiratory hospitals at Royal Brompton hospital in London & Harefield hospital in Middlesex.
You will work with a professional and caring attitude, providing the best possible care to our patients. Our patient transport services are in-sourced and you will be employed directly by Guy's & St. Thomas' NHS Foundation trust, working for Royal Brompton & Harefield hospitals in-house ambulance service.
Main duties of the job- Transporting patients to attend outpatient appointments, day case treatment, admissions, discharges and transfers between NHS hospitals nationally.
- Caring for frail and vulnerable patients, some require assistance with wheelchairs, both manual and electric.
- Delivering clear, concise basic clinical information to the Health Care professional when handing over patients in relevant departments.
- Undertaking risk assessment of patient safety, staff safety and public safety.
The estimated salary for this role is £29,485 - £31,088 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
