Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at a stunning, multi-award-winning restaurant in North Yorkshire. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff to ensure efficient service
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve excellent customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a Junior Sous Chef or equivalent role
- Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and hygiene practices
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
