About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team at Glass Door Homeless Charity. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our fundraising strategy to maximize income from events, community fundraising, and corporate partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Work with our Head of Fundraising & Major Donors and other Fundraising Managers to refine and develop our established fundraising strategy to maximize income from events, community fundraising, and corporate partnerships against an annual target.
  • Events Management: Overall responsibility for the design, planning, and implementation of all Glass Door events, including our flagship fundraising event and our annual supporter thank you event.
  • Corporate Partnerships: Pitch for corporate support, including commercial partnerships, charity of the year relationships, and sponsorship.
  • Community Fundraising: Oversee our work with community groups, supporting our Fundraising Officer to maintain excellent relationships and support them with events.
Person Specification
  • Essential: Experience managing complex events delivering six-figure income targets, demonstrable success in securing income from a range of fundraising streams, and up-to-date knowledge of the regulatory regime around fundraising and data protection.
  • Skills & Aptitudes: Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and audiences, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
