Job Summary
The Heart of Worcestershire College is seeking a skilled and dedicated Learning Skills Development Officer Creative Arts to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the development of our students' learning skills and creativity in the arts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver learning skills programs and workshops that cater to the needs of our students in the creative arts.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to integrate learning skills into the curriculum and ensure a seamless learning experience for our students.
- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students to help them overcome learning challenges and achieve their goals.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to address them.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in learning skills development and incorporate them into our programs.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and experience in learning skills development and the creative arts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and best practices.
Working Conditions
The successful candidate will be based at the Heart of Worcestershire College and may be required to work at other locations from time to time. The college operates an occupational pension scheme, and all staff are required to have a minimum level 2 qualification in both English and Maths.
