Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team at The Dolls House. As a key member of our kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, presentation, and service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and creative flair
- Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure exceptional service
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Monitor and control kitchen costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency
- Collaborate with the management team to drive business growth and development
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of flavor profiles, presentation, and menu engineering
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations
