Manager, Customs Brokerage and Compliance

As a key member of the Amazon Worldwide Fulfillment team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of e-commerce globally. Your leadership skills will be instrumental in pioneering new ways of thinking, designing, and delivering innovative solutions that impact customers worldwide.

Collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders across the business, you will continuously explore and implement new strategies to enhance our operations. Your research and analysis will be driven by a focus on the long-term vision of Amazon, ensuring that we stay ahead in the fast-paced world of global logistics.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on some of the most innovative new initiatives that are defining the future of Amazon's Worldwide fulfillment operations. You will be part of a team that is creating a world where we deliver smiles to customers worldwide, every day.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of 6 risk/program managers and customs brokers to meet operational KPIs.
  2. Build efficiency in our transportation network across borders to reduce cost, improve speed, and reliability.
  3. Develop innovative solutions using data and research to address wider challenges in the organization.
  4. Take a big-picture approach in your analysis of business operations, driving improvements across a range of teams and organizations.
  5. Enhance compliance and operational performance on every program in partnership with stakeholders.
About the Team:

Amazon Worldwide Fulfillment team innovates, builds, and operates cross-border e-commerce shipping, fulfillment, and customs capabilities to enable global growth.

As a people leader of the customs and compliance org, you will be the single-threaded owner to lead the customs brokerage operations and cross-border compliance, working with both the Amazon Trade compliance team and external government entities. You will manage a team of 6 program/risk managers working closely with global carriers and brokers. You will work independently to launch projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Minimum Requirements:
  1. Significant experience in Ops, Program, or project management.
  2. Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  3. Master's degree in Management/MBA, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Transportation.
