HGV Service Technician Job

We are seeking a skilled HGV Mechanic to join our client's team and contribute to the success of their national fleet of trucks. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for conducting routine maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.

Job Duties:

  • Regularly inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and performance regulations.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
  • Perform scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance tasks to maintain vehicle health.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any emerging issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and notify management of significant faults or defects.

Compensation: £42,000 - £46,000 per annum

  • Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles or buses.
