We are seeking a skilled Commercial Vehicle Service Engineer to join our team at Auto Skills UK. This is a full-time, permanent role that requires a high level of expertise in truck and trailer maintenance.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £43,000 - £48,000 per annum (approximately £20.55 per hour), plus an excellent benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Vehicle Inspections: Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in line with 'O' licence requirements.
  2. Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs as necessary following initial inspection, including general servicing and MOT preparation.
  3. Fault Diagnosis: Identify and diagnose faults, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with regulations.
  4. Paperwork and Databases: Update all required paperwork and databases, maintaining accurate records.

You will also be responsible for identifying and diagnosing faults, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship experience and in-depth knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance.
