About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Neuroscientist to join our team at the Francis Crick Institute. As a Postdoctoral Fellow, you will be responsible for conducting cutting-edge research on the biological mechanisms underlying psychosis.

Project Overview

Our lab is focused on understanding the complex interactions between neuronal dynamics and immune processes in a psychosis mouse model. You will employ techniques from computational psychiatry, systems neuroscience, and immunology to examine the interplay between these processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design and conduct experiments to investigate the neural mechanisms of psychosis-like perception in mice
  • Analyze and interpret data using advanced programming and data analysis skills
  • Develop and lead your own research projects, collaborating with other team members as needed
  • Supervise and mentor PhD and other students in their research

Requirements

  • PhD in systems neuroscience or a related field
