Job Title: Community Arts Psychotherapist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Arts Psychotherapist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.
About the Role:
The Community Arts Psychotherapist will work with individuals with complex mental health needs, providing therapeutic interventions and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for clients with complex trauma and psychosis.
- Deliver evidence-based arts psychotherapies, including group and individual sessions.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
- Supervise students and contribute to the development of arts therapy services.
- Participate in research and audit initiatives to advance the field of arts psychotherapy.
Requirements:
- Good honours degree in Art, Music, Drama, or Dance, or equivalent experience.
- MA/MSc in Arts Therapy or Psychotherapy.
- State Registration with the Health Professions Council (HCPC).
- Significant experience of working with personality disorder and psychosis.
- Training in MBT and experience of delivering arts therapy interventions.
- Excellent community liaison skills and ability to work autonomously.
