Job Overview

We are working with a pharmaceutical firm seeking an experienced Statutory Accountant for a 9-month fixed-term contract. As the key contact, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with multiple business partners to collect, aggregate, and prepare accounts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with external auditors.
  • Manage year-end tax provisioning, deferred taxes, patent box, and R&D claims.
  • Oversee transfer pricing.
  • Review final documents.
Requirements
  • Accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
  • Experience preparing statutory accounts, ideally under IFRS and consolidated accounts.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge.
  • Group audit experience.
  • Previous business partnering support experience.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • UK tax knowledge advantageous.
What We Offer

Our client offers a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
