Job Title: Clinical Safeguarding Specialist

Location: Derbyshire

Estimated Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Safeguarding Specialist to join our team at the Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multi-agency integrated team, you will play a crucial role in promoting effective information sharing and assessment to safeguard children and vulnerable adults.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and experience working with vulnerable families. You will need to liaise with local NHS providers, including GPs, to provide a comprehensive health perspective and contribute to strategy meetings for both children and adult safeguarding.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with local NHS providers to obtain necessary information
  • Representing health at strategy meetings for children and adult safeguarding
  • Working collaboratively with partner agencies to promote effective information sharing
  • Providing expert professional advice and support to staff on safeguarding best practices

Requirements:

  • Current NMC Registration or equivalent professional registration
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Level 3 Safeguarding Children courses/training
  • Adult Safeguarding courses/training
