About the Role
Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SCPHN student to join our team as a Health Visitor. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in public health nursing and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for working within multidisciplinary teams to provide health visiting services to children and families. This will involve conducting home visits, assessing the health and wellbeing of children, and providing guidance and support to parents and carers.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have current NMC registration for nursing or midwifery, a DipHE (or above) qualification equivalent to 120 credits at level 5, and eligibility to work in the UK. You will also need to have excellent communication and listening skills, the ability to work autonomously, and emotional maturity in difficult or distressing situations.
