Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is seeking a Sales Support Administrator to provide administrative support to the admin department of a world-leading Chesterfield-based industrial client.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing efficient service to internal and external personnel
  • Controlling stock levels of customer items within agreed limits
  • Operating systems clearly and efficiently, regularly monitoring to ensure order entry compliance with customer requirements and company policies
  • Providing regular administrative support to Account Managers as needed

Required skills include:

  • Effective communication and people development skills
  • Developing relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Reviewing resources and adjusting workload based on deadlines
  • Focused understanding of customer care and after-sales service
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Working hours and pay:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9am-5pm (30-minute unpaid break)
  • Friday: 9am-2pm
  • Hourly rate: £11.75-£12.25 dependent on experience
