Job Description

We are seeking a talented Hairdressing and Barbering Tutor to join our team at Reflectionshair in the heart of Bristol.

About the Role:

  • Teaching Experience: Passionate about hairdressing, you will deliver high-quality training to young people, helping them develop skills and meet individual needs.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You will work closely with learners and employers, supporting recruitment efforts and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Creative and Confident: As a tutor, you will inspire and motivate learners with a flexible approach.
  • Organized and Prioritized Well: Strong organizational skills, meeting deadlines and targets.
  • Flexible and Motivating: You will help learners develop personal skills necessary for their careers.

Duties:

  • Support and assess learners at Hairdressing or Barbering Foundation level.
  • Work with learners and employers to enhance training quality.
  • Provide full support to employers and learners, ensuring high-quality training and adherence to industry standards.
  • Prepare and deliver inspiring, engaging, and interactive workshops and sessions.
  • Track learner progress, set targets, and ensure timely assessments and training within the workplace.
  • Demonstrate advanced level, up-to-date standards in training.
  • Excellent communication skills, high personal presentation, and a team player attitude.
  • Driving Licence Required: Must have a driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Working Hours and Salary:

Part-Time - Ideally Wednesday to Friday, Up to £25,000 pro rata, dependent on experience.
