About the Role:


The Assistant Head of Inshore Operations is a critical position that plays a key role in facilitating the delivery of our on-water activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of our boating framework, supporting volunteer-led activities across the UK, and ensuring the assurance and safety of boating operations.


Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement our boating framework to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality


• Support volunteer-led activities across the UK to deliver life-affirming on-water experiences to young people


• Collaborate with the Head of Inshore Operations to develop and deliver assurance and safety protocols for boating operations


• Provide day-to-day line management to the office team


Requirements:


• A qualified watersports practitioner with experience in delivering high-quality on-water experiences


• A strong understanding of operating procedures and documentation


• Experience in watersports at a strategic level


Desirable:


• Experience or knowledge of youth and/or uniformed organisations


• Experience or knowledge of the charity sector
