About the Opportunity
Research Services at the University of Oxford seeks an exceptional leader to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Research Funding and Contracts team. As the Interim Director, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding research support services and promoting effective links with external research funders. You will lead a large team of talented professionals, ensuring excellent service delivery across the team functions. Your strong communication skills will enable you to connect effectively with colleagues at all levels. The role is available for six months, with a possibility for further extension subject to confirmation of funding.

About You
You will bring significant leadership experience in delivering research support services and a strong customer service ethos to the role. Your exceptional leadership and management skills will enable you to support and develop colleagues to succeed. You will be an excellent communicator, able to connect effectively with colleagues and external stakeholders. As a committed and dedicated professional, you will be passionate about delivering outstanding research support services and promoting the University's research excellence.
