Strategic Financial Leader for Oxford College

This divisional finance leadership position serves as the principal financial officer for the division, overseeing various operational functions such as Human Resources and facilities management. The successful candidate will direct financial planning and accounting activities, providing leadership and participating in long-range financial planning, trending, and budgeting.
The ideal candidate will analyze and present financial trends, generating executive summaries of consolidated and unit-specific financial reports. They will ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information and reporting for assigned areas of responsibility, developing short- and long-term financial goals and implementing fiscal policies to support the organization's financial viability.
As a key member of the team, this strategic financial leader will oversee, coordinate, and manage special projects, finalizing budgets, conducting feasibility analyses, researching, and drafting business processes. They will perform comprehensive operational assessments of business units, preparing financial sections for various reports and monitoring, developing, and facilitating action plans to address deficit accounts.
This role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business management, or a related field, with seven years of professional experience in accounting, finance, project management, or strategic planning. An MBA is preferred. Note: This role offers the opportunity to work from home regularly but requires flexibility to commute to Emory University based on business needs.
