Advocacy Director

Join Starfish Search Ltd in our mission to end the AIDS epidemic as an Advocacy Director. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the policy and advocacy workstream at the Elton John AIDS Foundation, driving impactful influencing strategies and delivering nuanced advocacy approaches.
The Foundation's MissionOur mission is to be a powerful force in ending the AIDS epidemic. We challenge discrimination, prevent infections, and provide treatment, influencing governments to end AIDS. As Advocacy Director, you will work with teams across the Foundation to develop and implement an advocacy strategy that results in measurable wins for people living with and at risk of AIDS.
Your Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement an advocacy strategy that aligns with the Foundation's mission and values.
- Build impactful influencing strategies and deliver nuanced influencing, advocacy, and policy education approaches.
- Work with members of the Senior Leadership Team to deliver the advocacy strategy and lead the charity's strategic outcomes in policy and advocacy.
- Collaborate with health policy makers to bring us closer to our vision of ending the AIDS epidemic.
