Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Safety Assurance Manager to provide critical support to our clients in the Aerospace and Defence industries.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Systems Safety & Environmental engineering, with experience working on marine-based projects a plus.

Key Responsibilities

The Safety Assurance Manager will work closely with our customers to determine project requirements and develop solutions that meet their safety needs. This will involve:

  • Leading the development of safety plans and justifications
  • Analyzing hazards associated with complex systems and developing design solutions to mitigate them
  • Collaborating with customer engineers and suppliers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Preparing safety reports and declarations of conformity
Essential Skills

The successful candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise and leadership skills, including:

  • Zonal Hazard Analysis
  • Functional Hazard Assessment
  • Fault Tree Analysis
  • Project Leadership
  • Team Leadership
  • Solution development
  • Report writing
Additional Requirements

In addition to the above skills, the ideal candidate will also possess:

  • SC Clearance (or ability to obtain)
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites and supply chain locations
  • Proactive mindset and flexibility in working hours
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and professional development opportunities.
