Regional Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Secretary to lead our South East region. As a member of our Senior Management Team, you will provide strategic leadership and direction to ensure the union is a formidable force across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement regional plans to achieve organisational objectives
- Lead and manage a team of union representatives to build strength in the workplace and promote issue-based bargaining
- Support members and elected officers to ensure the union is inclusive and effective
- Work strategically at senior leadership level to prepare, review and deliver organisational and team plans
About the Role:
The National Education Union is a dynamic education union committed to shaping the future of education, improving educators' rights and championing social justice. As a Regional Secretary, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of educators and students.
Requirements:
- Significant experience of leading and managing in a trade union environment
- Ability to work strategically at senior leadership level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to the values and principles of the National Education Union
