Finance Partner Opportunity at The Guinness Partnership

We are seeking a skilled Finance Partner to join our team at The Guinness Partnership, a leading provider of affordable housing and care services in England. As a Finance Partner, you will play a crucial role in supporting the achievement of effective financial control and delivery of financial and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a full finance partnering service to support the business in achieving its financial goals.
  • Undertake financial analysis and evaluation of processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  • Review and analyse business processes to achieve financial improvements.
  • Contribute to the statutory and management accounts process.
  • Develop and maintain reports within a finance reporting system.
Requirements:
  • CCAB or CIMA qualified.
  • Experience of finance partnering and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience of reviewing and analysing business processes to achieve financial improvements.
  • Technical excellence and experience of contributing to the statutory and management accounts process.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience of using Oracle Financials or equivalent finance system.
  • Experience of working with project teams across the business.
  • Relevant experience within the social housing sector.
