Job Overview

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Radiographer to join our team in Cardiff. As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for conducting ultrasound examinations and providing high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work as a General Sonographer with a dynamic team. You will have the chance to utilize your expertise in various areas of ultrasound, including lumps and bumps, gynaecology, abdominal, renal, small parts, and testes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting ultrasound examinations with 20-minute appointment slots
  • Providing exceptional patient care and ensuring patient comfort during procedures
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and completing all necessary documentation
  • Collaborating with the medical team to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
  • A UK qualification in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • HCPC Registration
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working within the NHS (private sector experience alone is insufficient)
  • Broad general ultrasound experience
Working Arrangements

Ideal working hours are 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday. However, flexibility is available for ad hoc shifts with weekdays only.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this role is £40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.
