Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Anti-Money Laundering Officer to join our team. As an AML Officer, you will be responsible for managing the anti-money laundering system, following money laundering guidelines, identifying and evaluating relevant risks, and implementing AML training programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the anti-money laundering system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the further development of the AML system to optimize its effectiveness.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of money laundering guidelines and regulations.
  • Optimize work instructions and procedures to prevent money laundering.
  • Ensure all AML regulatory requirements are adhered to, and report suspicious activity promptly.
  • Liaise with the anti-financial crime team to share best practices and stay informed about industry developments.
  • Create and monitor new AML regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Identify and evaluate relevant risks to the organization, and develop and maintain risk and control procedures.
  • Advise colleagues on AML processes and procedures to ensure a culture of compliance.
  • Oversee and implement AML training programs to educate employees on AML best practices.

Requirements:

  • 2 years' professional experience in AML/Compliance.
  • A level or equivalent qualifications or related experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines.
  • Excellent and confident communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new responsibilities.
