Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anti-Money Laundering Officer to join our team at Faith Recruitment. As an AML Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our client's financial systems and preventing financial crime.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the anti-money laundering system to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support the further development of the AML system to enhance its effectiveness
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of money laundering guidelines and regulations
  • Optimize work instructions and procedures to prevent money laundering and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Ensure all AML regulatory requirements are met, including reporting suspicious activity
  • Liaise with the anti-financial crime team to share best practices and stay informed of industry developments
  • Create and monitor new AML regulations to ensure compliance
  • Identify and evaluate relevant risks to the organization's financial systems
  • Develop and maintain risk and control procedures to mitigate potential threats
  • Advise colleagues on AML processes and procedures
  • Oversee and implement AML training programs to ensure staff are equipped to prevent financial crime

Requirements:

  • 2 years' professional experience in AML/Compliance
  • A level or equivalent qualifications or related experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of anti-money laundering regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent and confident communication skills
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take on new responsibilities
