We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Midwife for North Highland with experience working across the region. The post involves providing high-quality midwifery-led care throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period. You will work closely with women and their families, building confidence and competence in midwifery-led care.

Our team is passionate about supporting normality and has experience working in community and leadership roles. As a lead midwife, you will be responsible for developing and implementing midwifery-led care services, working closely with staff and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of care.

Midwifery Settings:

  • Community
  • Rural & remote Community Midwifery led Units
  • Home birth service
  • Consultant led unit

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing person-centered care
  • Developing and implementing midwifery-led care services
  • Leading a team of midwives
  • Collaborating with staff and stakeholders

Salary: £54,919 - £67,694 per annum (dependent on experience)

Location: North Highland, Scotland

Type: Full-time

Hours: 37 hours per week
