We are seeking a highly motivated midwife sonographer to join our team at the obstetric ultrasound department / fetal medicine unit.

Raigmore Hospital provides midwifery, obstetric and neonatal care to pregnant women and their families living in the Scottish Highlands, covering a wide rural area of 12500 square miles with approximately 1800 births a year.

The successful candidate will be fully supported by our ultrasound lead and perform all obstetric examinations, including MCA PI and UAPI screening for small for gestational age babies.

Main workload includes EPAU, fetal medicine, maternal medicine, twins and specialist ANC's, including screening pathway scans and general obstetric growth scans using GROW.

We have a range of high spec ultrasound equipment, including 7 Voluson E10 machines.

Requirements include holding a qualification as a midwife and a minimum PGc in medical ultrasound, practicing in obstetrics with evidence of quality assured scan skill set.

This is a full-time post, with part-time hours considered.
