Conveyancing Case Handler Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conveyancing Case Handler to join our team at BMA Recruitment Ltd. As a Conveyancing Case Handler, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Manage a portfolio of up to 75 conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion
* Deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence, and occasionally face-to-face
* Communicate with clients and third parties on all elements of the conveyancing transaction
* Eliminate client service issues by dealing with any potential complaints as soon as they arise
* Prepare completion packs for the accounts department, including completion statements and invoices
* Deal with exchange of contracts
* Ensure telephony targets are maintained
* Adhere to conversion targets and maximize fee generation

**Requirements**

* At least 2 years' solid experience in a similar role
* Running a small case load of straightforward conveyancing transactions
* Strong administrative skills gained in an office environment
* Excellent attention to detail
* Good telephone manner
* Conversant in Microsoft Office
* Highly organized
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Experience of using a case management system (Proclaim)

**Training and Development**

* Ensure that you fully understand and adhere to all the relevant company policies and procedures as set out on the Training Portal and the Company Intranet
* Undertake all training and reading allocated to you on the Training Portal (Access Training) in the timescales set by the Training Team
* Ensure you attend all other training sessions that are rolled out to you by the Training Team
