Job Title: Conveyancing Transaction Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conveyancing Transaction Manager to join our team at BMA RECRUITMENT LTD.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of up to 75 Sale and Purchase Conveyancing Transactions from Instruction to Completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deal effectively with clients and third parties over the telephone, in written correspondence, and occasionally face-to-face, to provide advice and assistance.
  • Communicate with clients and third parties on all elements of the conveyancing transaction.
  • Manage the client journey, ensuring the best possible service at every stage.
  • Eliminate client service issues by addressing potential complaints promptly and working with the Client Services Manager to resolve formal complaints.
  • Be administratively astute with attention to detail.
  • Work in a team, reporting to Technical Support.
  • Own every aspect of the sale process and the purchase process, with background technical assistance.
  • Seek advice on any technical matters as soon as they arise.
  • Prepare completion packs for the accounts department, including completion statements and invoices.
  • Deal with exchange of contracts.
  • Be responsible for completions on the day of completion and post-completion formalities.
  • Ensure telephony targets are maintained.
  • Adhere to conversion targets and maximize fee generation.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensuring breaches do not occur.
  • Undertake any other duties required to assist the team and other teams as needed.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of solid experience in a similar role.
  • Running a small case load of straightforward conveyancing transactions.
  • Strong administrative skills gained in an office environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Conversant in Microsoft Office.
  • Highly organized.
  • Willingness to learn new skills.
  • Experience of using a case management system (Proclaim).
  • Confident in building and maintaining business relationships through excellent communication and service delivery.
