About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Building Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems within a commercial building in Central London.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with experience in HVAC systems and a valid FGas Certificate. They will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with the building manager and attend regular maintenance meetings. They will also be required to work independently, with occasional out-of-hours working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on HVAC systems and equipment
  • Supervise specialist subcontractors and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Communicate effectively with the building manager and attend regular maintenance meetings
  • Work independently, with occasional out-of-hours working

About You:

  • Strong background in mechanical engineering
  • Experience in HVAC systems and a valid FGas Certificate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
