About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Buyer to join our team at KFC Europe. As a Category Buyer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of equipment and capital expenditures across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a procurement strategy to improve return on investment and payback periods for equipment and capital expenditures.
  • Manage key equipment suppliers and global OEM supplier relationships to ensure uninterrupted supply and right-first-time quality.
  • Lead the analysis of supplier and contract performance to identify opportunities to reduce spend and improve execution.
  • Partner with Global Equipment Procurement to develop and implement a category strategy that delivers on short- and long-term goals.
  • Support the Category Manager in defining and implementing long-term category strategy that delivers against the needs of KFC.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract meaningful conclusions from data.
  • Proven experience of working collaboratively in complex stakeholder environments.
  • Proven experience of outside-the-box thinking and comfort in challenging the status quo.
  • Proven experience in understanding contract KPIs and successfully driving supplier performance.
  • Procurement or Supply Chain experience, ideally in a food service/FMCG or retail environment.
