Are you a skilled Biomedical Scientist looking for a challenging role in Immunology? Cambridge University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Biomedical Scientist. This 12-month fixed-term, full-time post is in our busy and progressive UKAS 15189 accredited Immunology laboratory.

In this role, you will be responsible for undertaking testing and processing of biological specimens, analysis, and entering of results onto LIMS. You will also work as part of our experienced scientific team in the shift system covering Monday-Saturday 08:00-18:00.

The successful candidate will have HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist, IBMS Accredited Biomedical science honours degree, and previous practical experience of working in an NHS Diagnostic laboratory. The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

We offer a variety of training and development opportunities, well supported by our professional and knowledgeable scientific and clinical staff. Consideration may be given to applications from candidates nearing completion of their Registration Portfolio or students who need only to graduate to complete their registration.
