Rutherford Briant is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Leader to join their team as an Audit Director. This role offers the opportunity to lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring exceptional quality and compliance.

Job Overview:

This position involves overseeing a portfolio of clients, managing a team of auditors, and providing strategic guidance to both clients and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and manage a team of auditors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
  2. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements.
  3. Conduct risk assessments and develop appropriate audit plans.
  4. Review and evaluate internal controls, identifying areas for improvement.
  5. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  6. Provide strategic guidance to clients, assisting them in achieving their financial objectives.
Requirements:
  1. Professional certification such as ACA/ACCA.
  2. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in auditing, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  3. In-depth knowledge of auditing standards, regulations, and best practices.
  4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a private healthcare plan and flexible benefits package.
