Cash Operations Specialist: Regional Bank Reconciliation Expert

As a Cash Operations Senior Specialist at Informa Global Support, you will play a crucial role in managing the bank open item for your designated region, covering both Oracle and SAP systems. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Being the key contact for the outsourcing team, responsible for managing open reconciling items and supporting with queries.
- Hosting weekly calls with your respective region to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Providing clear status updates, commentary, and action plans to ensure open items are current.
- Reviewing bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Preparing the month-end master reconciliation tracker to facilitate efficient tracking and reporting.
- Driving continuous improvement to Cash Ops processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes as needed.
- Ensuring timely updates to DTPs (data transmission protocols) for the offshore team.
- Providing ad-hoc assistance to the Cash Operations Team Leader/Manager as required.
Qualifications:
For this role, we are looking for individuals with:
- Strong Excel knowledge and skills.
- Previous experience using SAP or Oracle ERPs, with a solid understanding of their functionalities.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- The ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
- A plus would be knowledge of Accounts Payable and Receivable functions, although not essential.
