Job Overview

This role is ideal for a highly adaptable individual with strong communication skills who is eager to join our team as a Financial Operations Specialist. Your primary responsibility will be managing open items for our designated region, covering both Oracle and SAP systems.

You will be the key contact for the outsourcing team, ensuring the management of open reconciling items and providing timely responses to queries. Additionally, you will host weekly calls with your regional team, facilitate clear status updates and action plans, and review bank reconciliations.

To succeed in this role, you should have prior experience using SAP or Oracle ERPs, possess strong Excel knowledge, and be familiar with basic accounting principles. You should also be able to work efficiently in a time-sensitive environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage open items for the designated region, including Oracle and SAP systems
  • Serve as the key contact for the outsourcing team regarding open reconciling items and queries
  • Host weekly calls with the regional team to discuss progress and address concerns
  • Provide clear status updates and action plans to ensure timely resolution of open items
  • Review and analyze bank reconciliations to identify discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on open items and reconciliations
