Job Summary

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Chef in creating menus that cater to the dietary needs of our residents
  • Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, ensuring seamless operations
  • Work with fresh produce to deliver wholesome, delicious meals
  • Help create a warm and welcoming environment in our home
  • Work within budget, complete regular audits, and manage stock control
  • Assist in leading and motivating the team

Person Specification

The ideal candidate for this role must hold a City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification, have experience in helping lead and inspire a team, a good understanding of nutrition, and working with fresh seasonal food. A strong grasp of HACCP principles is also essential.
