Job Summary

This role offers the opportunity to work as a Bank Chef at Barchester Healthcare, a leading healthcare provider in the UK. Main Responsibilities
  • Manage the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence, working with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes.
  • Help create a warm, efficient, and fun environment within the home.
  • Work within budget, complete regular audits, and manage stock control.
  • Assist in leading and motivating a team of chefs.

Requirements
  • A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents.
  • Hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in helping lead and inspire a team.
  • A good understanding of nutrition and working with fresh seasonal food.
  • A strong grasp of HACCP principles.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate for the Bank Chef role must hold a City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification, have experience in helping lead and inspire a team, a good understanding of nutrition and working with fresh seasonal food, and a strong grasp of HACCP principles.
