About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Group. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our offices and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment by performing a variety of tasks, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Operate a range of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning schedules and deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure that cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Committed to maintaining a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.
