About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our offices and facilities.

Your duties will include:

  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Operating a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning schedules and deadlines.
  • Providing excellent customer service to our employees and visitors.

About You

We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential. You will be able to work on your own initiative, organizing your own time, and managing your workload effectively.
