Contract Cleaning Manager Opportunity

Aramark UK is seeking an experienced Contract Cleaning Manager to join their team at Wood Smith Mines, Whitby. This is a permanent and full-time opportunity reporting to the Area Operations Director.

About the Role

The successful candidate will oversee both specialist and non-specialist cleaning services across the Anglo American site. Aramark provides world-class contract catering services to a diverse range of clients across the UK, including Defence and Judicial, private industry, and Education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and assist with specialist and non-specialist cleaning across the site
  • Manage staff rotas, holiday requests, site audits, and recruiting new employees where required
  • Identify training needs on-site, conduct training where possible, and maintain records of training completed
  • Monitor cleaning products on-site, maintain stock levels, and submit orders as required in line with agreed site budgets
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Cleaning Manager is essential
  • Experience in staffing, rotas, training, and basic HR compliance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work to deadlines and prioritize tasks, with flexibility in working hours and days
