As a key member of the MASH Team, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.

Opus People Solutions Ltd, on behalf of Peterborough City Council, invites applications from experienced social workers to fill this challenging yet rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Meet stringent deadlines for completing MASH Enquiries.
  2. Analyze s47 Red and s17 Amber contacts thoroughly, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.
  3. Support CAIOs in managing child contacts, ensuring seamless collaboration.
  4. Oversee Amber MASH Enquiries, providing guidance and expertise when needed.
  5. Engage in constructive case discussions and offer expert guidance to colleagues.
  6. Provide expert consultation to external professionals via the PCL.
  7. Participate in MARAC meetings and lead daily information sharing sessions.
  8. Conduct regular supervision sessions for junior staff members.
  9. Handle inquiries from the Professional Consultation Line.

The successful candidate should have at least 3 years of social work experience and a strong desire to contribute positively to the community.

With an hourly rate of £45 and 37 hours of work per week, this opportunity presents a lucrative chance for motivated individuals to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be located in Peterborough, enjoying a hybrid working arrangement with three days spent in the office each week.
