About the Role

The aim of our Special Educational Needs (SEN) transport service is to provide safe and reliable transportation to children and young people with special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to education.

As a D1 Home to School Transport Specialist for Achieving for Children, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and meet safety standards
  • Coordinating collection and drop-off times to meet the needs of our passengers
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of all passengers during transportation
  • Collaborating with passenger assistants to provide a high-quality service

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • A passion for supporting children and young people with special educational needs
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
