Financial Analyst Specialist

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant Specialist to join our Finance Team based from our head office in Widnes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles, with experience in Management Accounts, preferably within the charitable sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process financial data, including accruals, prepayments and journal entries, ensuring that they are accurate and delivered on time.
- Prepare management accounts, using variance analysis against budget/forecast, trend data, and contractual agreements to ensure that they accurately reflect financial activity.
- Support the month-end close process, ensuring that all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
- Prepare and review management information, investigating variances, completing KPIs, and monitoring performance.
Requirements:
- AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified or working towards qualifying.
- Experience in Management Accounts, preferably within the charitable sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
- Ability to analyse complex financial data, interpret trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent Excel skills.
