We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team based in Widnes. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate processing and reporting of financial data, providing critical insights into financial performance.
Key Responsibilities- Process financial data, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Prepare management accounts, using variance analysis against budget/forecast, trend data, and contractual agreements to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
- Prepare and review management information, investigating variances, completing KPIs, and monitoring performance.
- AAT / ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified or working towards qualifying.
- Experience in Management Accounts, preferably within the charitable sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
- Ability to analyse complex financial data, interpret trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
