Defour Partnership is working closely with a National Social Care Charity to recruit a Financial Reporting Specialist. This is a full-time, permanent position that can be based anywhere in the North West, with occasional travel to our head office in Widnes.
Key Responsibilities- Process financial data, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Prepare management accounts, using variance analysis against budget/forecast, trend data, and contractual agreements.
- Support the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and reported.
- Prepare and review management information, investigating variances, completing KPIs, and monitoring performance.
- AAT/ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or working towards qualifying, with experience in management accounts.
- Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles.
- Ability to analyze complex financial data, interpret trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Hybrid working arrangement, with the option to work from home or our head office in Widnes.
