Construction Operations Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Operations Manager to join our team at CFM NI Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling job orders, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness while providing exceptional service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate operations, manage direct labour and sub-contractors, and advocate for safety standards and protocols
- Assist with job organisation, reviewing diaries, material requirements, and operational aspects of contracts daily
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are maintained, complete H&S audits, accident reporting, and toolbox talk delivery
- Liaise with Senior Managers, administration personnel, and operational Planners for effective work planning and communication
- Manage sub-contractor relations, performance, and quality standards
- Monitor job numbers, progress, and present at Daily Huddles, requesting variations or extensions as needed
- Track rejected jobs, investigate, and provide information for job notes
- Analyse work instructions and SORs to ensure correct codes and values
- Attend meetings, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for reporting
- Provide leadership and direction to operation teams, driving accountability and people process adherence
- Carry out Pre & Post Inspection Surveys, agree measurements, and application of SORs
- Liaise with client Maintenance Officers on queries or amended works
- Ensure works are completed via operative PDA and Orchard system updates
- Provide support, guidance, and training to direct labour and sub-contractor staff
- Perform the job in accordance with company policies and procedures
