About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Store Leader to join our team at Rutland Water Cycling Limited. As a critical member of our UK Retail Team, you will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence within the retail environment and driving sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and the smooth running of shifts by supporting the Store Leader
  • Drive the team to deliver on KPI performance metrics
  • Manage stock and inventory, ensuring accuracy and amendments
  • Investigate and resolve disciplinary issues
  • Ensure effective scheduling of staff and address issues where required
  • Awareness and responsibility for security of stock and staff
  • Ensure teammates are compliant with training and legality
  • Banking and reporting to the finance team
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service focus
  • Strong market knowledge within the cycle and leisure industry
  • Commercially astute to identify and exploit opportunities
  • Authentic ties to communities relevant to the brand
  • Highly capable in sales with a desire to meet and exceed budgeted revenue and profit targets
  • Strategically capable, particularly when the Store Leader is unavailable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Consistently seeking to improve own performance and that of others
  • Operationally proficient in I.T. skills using EPOS and similar
